The Mapito is a substrate composed of Polyethylene in cubes with rock wool. It helps to get maximum aeration of the roots being able to plant the plants in pots.
With the mapito you will obtain all the advantages of the culture in rock wool, with the advantage of being able to use individual flowerpots to grind them to obtain an optimal development of the plants and the roots will not be bothered.
Mapito is a substrate widely used in Holland for its excellent aeration and retention of nutrients. It is composed of a mixture of polyurethane foam and mineral rock wool flakes to ensure that the medium will never compact.
Method of use:
Before using the mapito you must wash it with osmosis water, to clean the impurities, until the drainage water comes out with an EC of 0.3.
Then it must be left submerged in osmosis water with hydroponic growth fertilizer until reaching an EC of 0.600 and a pH of 5.00.
